Week #3 - June 30, 2010

Our performance on June 30, 2010 is our official 4th of July concert. The band will not be a part of the festivities at Chippewassee Park this year.

Our program will begin at 7:30pm in the Central Park band shell, and will consist of the following musical selections:

American Red Cross, march (L. Panella)
Serenade - "A Night in June" (King) - featuring the Euphonium section
Olympic Spirit (Williams)
Western Dance (Grundman)
Semper Fidelis, march (Sousa)

The Pledge of Allegiance (musical setting by A. Reed)
Salute to America's Finest, military march medley (arr. Lavendar)
Broadway Show Stoppers Overture (arr. Barker)
Stars and Stripes Forever, march (Sousa)

The weather looks great, so please come and join us for this salute to the USA.

The weather for tonight is looking "iffy", but our final decision will be made by 6pm. Check back at that time for the latest information. We do not have the option of moving the concert indoors.
